Age 94, of Longwood at Oakmont, died March 17, 2007. Devoted wife, gracious hostess to family, friends & foreign visitors, personal secretary and world traveling companion to her beloved late husband, John Willard Hanson for 68 years.
Mother of Dorothy Fuhry, of Cleveland, OH and Linda Cox of Allamuchy, NJ; sister of Ruth Miller of Elburn, IL and the late Charles H. Clauss; also survived by six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Dorothy lived in the French Congo 1962-1963 where she had a memorable personal visit with Albert Schweitzer in Lambarene, Gabon. She then lived in Mexico City in 1977. Memberships: Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary of Greater Pittsburgh, Rotary Ann - Paul Harris Fellow, Oakmont Presbyterian Church. Arrangements by ENGLISH-BERTUCCI FUNERAL HOME, Oakmont. Private interment at Allegheny Cemetery.
